The Creators of Colour training programs are dedicated to empowering media artists from underrepresented communities, particularly those who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC). Offering a comprehensive range of opportunities, these programs include skill development through workshops, masterclasses, and hands-on training in various aspects of media production, all led by industry professionals and tailored to emerging and mid-career artists. Participants benefit from mentorship with experienced professionals who provide guidance and support, helping them refine their projects and build confidence. The programs also foster valuable networking through events, offer access to resources crucial for project development, and provide opportunities for exposure through screenings and festivals. Additionally, career support is available to help artists navigate the industry, including pitching, contracts, and distribution. Committed to fostering diversity and inclusion, Creators of Colour equips BIPOC artists with the skills, knowledge, and connections they need to succeed in the media industry.

Our training programs are year-round and teach basic to advanced skills targeted at Black Film Industry professionals. Participants have the opportunity to pitch their projects to a group of industry leaders, take part in free online courses led by Black industry professionals and even produce short proofs of concepts for their series or feature films.
