Shima Majdpour is an aspiring writer/director and recent graduate from Humber College’s Film and Television Production Program, where she has regularly made the Dean’s List. She excels in collaborative and leadership environments where her mind is challenged and interpersonal connection is essential. Shima has written and directed a short silent film, a documentary short, and a comedy pilot, focusing on topics of self-perception, the parallels between social media and religion, and exploring our 20s through curiosity rather than fear. In a world where stress is inevitable, Shima strives to stay mindful, knowing firsthand how crucial it is in pursuing personal and artistic growth. She values strong communication, time management, organization and relationship building. Psychology and philosophy being her other passions, she aspires to create contemplative and nuanced works that resonate emotionally while maintaining the touch of humour that keeps us all going.
