A writer and actor of Haitian descent, Natalie C. Holly created BOUKIE after completing several diverse professional experiences in post-earthquake Haiti. Passionate about telling socially relevant stories, she has observed the complexities of Haiti’s current social fabric along with the dynamic between the local Haitian population, and the foreign, governmental, and institutional players involved in rebuilding efforts. A graduate of the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University where she earned a Masters in Fine Arts, she continues to work in the art world, where narratives of the multi-faceted black diaspora experience are honored and inspired.
